truTV has ordered a 10-episode second season of its critically praised half-hour variety sketch series, At Home with Amy Sedaris, co-created by Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello (Strangers with Candy). A24 (Lady Bird, 2 Dope Queens) is on board to produce the sophomore season of the scripted series, which will go into production later this year.
In At Home with Amy Sedaris, Sedaris invites viewers into her world, showcasing her unique, distinctive brand of hospitality and homemaking in weekly themed episodes which feature imaginative characters, how-to demonstrations, special guests, and more.

New characters aren't the only additions (and omissions) from season 2 of At Home with Amy Sedaris: The "Hits and Misses" segment won't cap every episode like it did in season 1, and Amy won't be shaming her revolving door of assistants in a large capacity either (though a few of them appear on the anniversary special episode).
